Great clients, exceptional trade partners, and a love for turning dreams into reality is the lifeblood of what we do at Allied but nothing is a greater driving force than our passion to collaborate on projects that make an impact.
From buildings that benefit local communities directly, like our children’s cancer hospital in Maringa, Brazil, to those that support emerging sustainable technologies, like Navistar’s impressive electric vehicle manufacturing facility in San Antonio, Texas, Allied has had the privilege of contributing to exceptional projects that have transformed businesses and changed lives.
Read on to discover some of our latest projects that are changing things in a big way.
Navistar’s Pre-Fabricated Steel Manufacturing Facility
After winning the highly competitive bid for Navistar’s 1,000,000 sq. ft. truck manufacturing facility, Allied coordinated the design, supply, and fabrication of the building, all while navigating 2020’s unprecedented materials shortages. Read on to see how transparency, flexibility, and resourcefulness made this a true coordination success story.
Children’s Hospital
Delivering a children’s hospital the size of seven baseball stadiums in the span of 6 months is no small feat but Allied completed it on schedule and at a critical time, with COVID straining the already overcrowded local hospitals. What made the project unusual was the requirement that all materials be shipped on a single vessel in roughly 200 containers. Learn how we pulled this off.
Industrial Park Warehouse
Aristos Real Estate’s jaw-dropping 670,000 sq. ft. warehouse in El Salvador also happens to be the largest warehouse in Central America and it’s Allied’s first project made at ASI, our new factory in Spain. Thanks to lots of preparation we completed this astonishing project in six months, despite the freight and supply crisis. See how it all came together.
A Race Against Time in Nome, Alaska
From the job site nowhere near Alaska’s road system, to unpredictable shipping schedules and an unanticipated truck breakdown, there was nothing standard about this project to deliver Bering Air’s new airplane hangar before winter. With local residents counting on us to make critical air-travel improvements, we made it happen!
