Fort Lauderdale, FL, May 2019 – Allied Steel Buildings, a recognized leading supplier of high-quality pre-engineered steel buildings and structural building systems, will be a key contributor to the new $5.5 million dollar garage project at Dover International Speedway.
The $5.5 million dollar “monster garage” project is indeed not a small feat. It will require a team effort from the various partners from demolition to completion in 4 short months in time for the fall race. The partners will need to collaborate on upgrading the space for NASCAR racers and their teams to be able to perform their jobs from the current 50 year old garage to a brand new, modern, and much more spacious state of the art facility.
Kent Construction was chosen to be the contractor orchestrating the entire project. Dover-based company, Becker-Morgan Architects, will provide the design, while Raynor Garage Doors will supply the doors for 44 large garage bays. Long time sponsor and partner Allied Steel Buildings, will be responsible for the structure of the massive 23,100 square/feet new building – a 20% increase in size from the 50 year old current garage built in 1969.
The work began on May 6th, shortly after the Allied Steel Buildings 200 NASCAR Xfinity Series Dash 4 Cash race that took place on May 4th, 2019. The project is expected to be completed and revealed by the Monster Energy Cup Series playoff race at Dover International Speedway on October 6th. The timeline is an ambitious target so that the garage can be opened in time to celebrate a remarkable milestone – the 100th NASCAR Cup Series race taking place at Dover International Speedway.
Allied cherishes the partnership with Dover International Speedway. They genuinely value creative ways to generate brand awareness through events and partnerships that can be engaging and memorable for its customer base.
As a sponsor for the Xfinity Series Dash 4 Cash race that took place on May 4th, the company was able to invite several VIP customers and key employees to attend the event, resulting in a one-of-a-kind client experience that will forever be engraved in all of the attendee’s memories. From meeting and greeting the drivers, to enjoying all the indulgences that the VIP suites with exclusive pit passes had to offer.
“The race was a hit and Allied Steel Buildings is extremely proud to not only continue being a sponsor, but also to strive for building long-term relationships with our customers that extend well beyond the confinements of simple day-to-day business transactions”, said Michael Lassner, President, Founder and CEO of Allied Steel Buildings.
He also added: “Our company’s mission is to always put customers first, and one of our core values is trust. What better way to show appreciation for our customers and to develop trust and rapport than by building fun memories with them face-to-face away from the everyday grind in the office? This event surpassed everyone’s expectations. We had so much fun together. Memories that will certainly stay with us. Our company’s most valuable assets are our people and the relationships we forge and nurture with our customers. The race was undoubtedly something to remember and we look forward to contributing to the garage project and to leaving our permanent mark at this venue.”
