Job Description
The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for executing all (domestic and international) daily logistical activities. This role is in place due to the strong business growth and expansion plan. The coordinator will oversee and manage the logistics flow of pre-engineered metal buildings from factories to construction sites.

Responsibilities
- Request and evaluate Freight rate for budgeting purposes
- Plan the logistics process (coordination, loading, delivery) and work with different providers to ensure prompt and proper movement of shipments
- Respond to customer inquiries and referring clients to the proper channels
- Respond to suppliers inquiries and referring vendors to the proper channels
- Review packing list, loading report, and shipping documents to ensure accuracy
- Make special shipping arrangements as necessary
- Track and fix shipping errors
- Prepare commercial invoices and export documentation
- Manage distribution and shipment budgets
- Ensure that the quality of all services provided meets the required standards
- Develop processes to make the supply chain more efficient and organized
- Track shipments to confirm the schedule needed by the customer
- Send shipping updates to the customer
- Assist in the expansion of logistics network
- Proactively seek out problems and developing solutions for efficiency and cost effectiveness
- Assist with other logistics-related functions and projects as assigned
- Work with AIP, Mexico, Spain
Qualifications & Skills
- Three years of experience in handling trucking shipments and documentation.
- Three years of experience handling ocean and/or ocean freight shipments and documentation.
- Bachelor’s degree and/or related experience in logistics, supply chain
- Strong understanding of trucking logistics, including load regulations (height, weight, and documentation).
- Familiarity with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and FMCSA compliance.
- Knowledge of route planning and consolidation techniques.
- Advanced proficiency with Google Suite or Microsoft Office Applications
- Strong organizational, time management, problem-solving, and professional writing skills
- Ability to navigate assignments with competing deadlines and multi-task effectively and accurately
- Ability and experience using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems
- Proven knowledge and experience with pre-engineered steel buildings
- Proven knowledge and experience with conventional steel buildings
- Knowledge and understanding of structural steel logistics
- Assertive clear communicator; both verbally and in written formats
- Read, write, and speak proficiently in Spanish and English
